Waikerie Bowling Club
It was decided to form a bowling club in Waikerie in 1925. That ground was first set up near the Co-operative Packing sheds in the area where the Police Station and government buildings and lawn area now is situated.
In 1968 the current bowling greens and clubrooms were built on this new site.
In 1973 the building was gutted by fire after an attempt by intruders to break into the safe. The clubrooms were rebuilt using the same foundations and some of the walls.
The cache is located at what should be a quiet area, away from the notice of onlookers.
It is a small sistema and contains log and a few swaps.
Please replace carefully as school children sometimes pass this way as a shortcut.
Okay, this cache has been removed by persons not au fait with the game for the 4th time. So time to move location slightly.
