Geocache Description:

This cache is named for the TK half of BKTK. Tommy is an 8-year-old geocacher from McLean. This is his first hide.

I promised TK he could hide a cache once we hit 100 finds. He chose McLean Central Park because it is a special place to him. In this park are his first swings, his first slide, and this cache is right next to the path where he first rode his bike without training wheels.

The best place to park is at N38 56.425 W77 11.083, near the basketball court. The cache is an easy walk down a paved path. Spend some time looking around and you'll find a nice recently renovated library, tennis courts, a frisbee golf course, and a couple of tot playgrounds. The cache is a Lock-n-Lock located very near the main paved path, so please take care to hide it so it can't be seen by casual walkers.

FCPA gave written permission for this cache. You must obey FCPA rules, most importantly no activities after dark.

[Edit - Tommy has pointed out to me he's no longer 8 years old (he's almost 11 now), and asked me to update the description. Rather than update it each birthday, I'll explain that he was 8 when we placed the cache in 2013. We still love geocaching and still spend a lot of time at this park!]
