The level of difficulty for this cache is due to a dry stream-bed making it not handicap accessible and a heavy amount of thorny vines. Also there can be a lot of muggles in view until you are within the woodline a bit. However the woods area is well-lit at night from the nearby Goodwill parking lot, so this is one bushwacking cache you can feasibly take on in the evening hours. You'll feel kind of like you're in an episode of CSI actually ; )
I found this patch of woodline nestled betwixt Goodwill and a Car Pool in a pretty trashstrewn state. It appears to be primarily used for drainage run-off from the car-wash. I thought this would be a good cache to bring attention to the "cache-in/trash-out" (CITO) program in geocaching, which I think should be practiced by all those who are concerned about the environment and hide caches. I ended up removing 8 trashbags of primarily bottles and cans from this area and I think helped to make it look quite unexpectedly pretty considering what it looked like before. I'm keeping trashbags in my trunk in case I discover a cache in a particulary trash-strewn area. Why not do this yourself and help spread goodwill!
Congrats to Searching Settles for being FTF!!!
