Royal Oak: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it. It is not normal to unarchive a cache, which has been archived due to a lack of maintenance.
If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

This is the third in the series around the Daresbury area, to commemorate the life and works of the writer Charles Dodgeson, better known as Lewis Carroll. The cache was placed near to the site of Lewis' birthplace. Well worth a visit on a nice sunny day!
Both the sites nearby have got places to explore. Good for picnics and to take the geohound for a walk too. Parking is in the nearby lay by, but be careful not too get distracted, cars and tractors use this road as it in the middle of Cheshire dairy farming country. This cache is a driveby, but you could walk, cycle or drive.
The cache container is small and you need to take your own pen to sign the log. Happy hunting.
