Geocache Description:

Named this one because the people who lived in the nearby house when I was a child were called Fortune.

The only Micro on route.

This is a series of 12 caches set on a scenic route of approximately 3 ½ miles following bridleways, footpaths and a couple of short sections of minor road. There are fabulous views so pick a clear day for your visit but expect mud, horses and some sheep. There's enough parking for several cars on the roadside verge but please do not block any field gateways. All caches bar one are small to meduim containers so please replace each one exactly as you found it. The route can be done as two separate circuits for the less able with pubs in St Briavels or Brockweir useful for refreshments during or after. Enjoy your walk.
