Micheldever Woods Traditional Cache
The free rangers: Unfortunately this child friendly cache and all the swappable items we put inside were stolen some time ago. After waiting many months for a reply from the local forestry representative (Mike Ullman) we still have not received a reply. The cache has not been replaced by the person/ persons that took it and so we feel it unwise to replace it with another. We hope that anyone that found, logged and had doing so enjoyed the swaps as much as the forest itself.

A woodland cache in an eclectic woodland.
Micheldever woods is a great walking location in all seasons, with a wide path up through the centre, it's hard to get lost, and has many off-the-track areas to explore. Birch woodland, fir-forest and a bramble-strewn Christmas-tree copse offers alot of different styles of scenery. See if you can find the iron-age encampment, the burial mounds, the wooden castle and the walking beam that is as long as the tallest tree is high.
Parking is very easily found off the road between these woods and Itchen Wood.
This cache is a small/medium Tupperware, off the track. Cache is placed with the kind permission of The Hampshire Forestry Commission.
