Fort Bayard National Cemetery, Originally established in 1866 as the military cemetery for Fort Bayard, many troopers, veterans, and civilians are buried here. It became a National Cemetery, one of two, in 1973. In honor of our one year geocaching anniversary we decided to place more hides. This is one of fourteen.
Cache is a camo'd matchstick container in the parking area outside the gates of the cemetery. Log only, bring your own writing stick.
