No.3 out of 7 caches in a straightforward linear family-friendly series, following the cycle/footpath from Caerphilly to Taff's Well. The series is just over 2 miles in length, and can be attempted in either direction.
The other caches in the series are:

#6 - Cottage
#7 - Bridge
The cache is found at the junction of two popular cycle routes, the Taff Trail which runs North/South between Cardiff and Brecon, and the National Cycle Network route no.4 which runs East/West between Caerphilly and Newport and beyond. These routes were once busy railway lines carrying coal and passengers. The location is particularly accessible by bike and on foot.
You are looking for a black 35mm film canister style cache which will require you to bring a pen for the log book, and there is no room for any trackables or swappables.
The GPS signal is very erratic at this location, due to bridge and lots of trees, and so coordinates won't be spot-on, but use of the description and hint and cacher's instinct should get you there....
Please note that this cache is on the LOWER path of the Taff Trail cycle path. There is no access to the cache site from the bridge above, which is a private road. If arriving by car, park at the separate parking coordinates, and approach on foot via the signposted Taff Trail only.
