Geocache Description:

This is the second in a series of caches featuring the churches of Helena

The church's website traces its origin to 1833 when it was located on the road to Montevallo.  The first congregation in Helena itself came around 1877 and  worshipped in the Masonic Hall.  They built their first church in 1910 near the present structure.  This building was destroyed in May of 1933 when a tornado demolished much of Helena.  The history does not say, but I assume they rebuilt shortly thereafter and that the present building is yeat another structure.
The church's website lists three worship services: Sunday mornings at 10:30, Sunday evenings at 6PM and Wednesday evenings at 6:30, in addition to other church activities.  The church fully subscribes to the Baptist Faith and Message Statement (2000 edition).

The Cache is located at N33* 17.4A; W86* 50.5B.  The posted coordinates are in the parking lot in front of the church, not where the cache is.
To find the cache you are going to need your Bible!  Genesis, chapter 41 tells the story of how Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream.  Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, had dreamed that 7 fat cows came up out of the Nile River followed by 7 skinny cows that ate up the first 7.  Find the verse where Joseph interprets the dream to mean that 7 years of plenty will be followed by 7 years of famine.  Add the number of that verse to the chapter number for the value of A.
John, chapter 11, tells the story of how Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.  Verse 35 is considered the shortest verse in the Bible.  Find the verse where it says that many of the Jews who saw what Jesus did (in raising Lazarus) believed in him.  That verse number is the value of B.

Warning: large building walls frequently distort GPS signals.  As with many such caches it may be convenient to stand back from the wall and get your bearings.  Then proceed in that direction despite the variations in the GPS signal. Congratulations to DrDFrid for FTF
