Long, long ago this cache was in danger of being destroyed by the treacherous Megamuggle who appeared from the deep, dark depths of Upper Thetis Lake! Fortunately Cachezilla was nearby at the top of Stewart Mountain (where he was busy tearing down some powerlines). Cachezilla arrived to protect the cache and a battle of epic proportions ensued! The battle waged back and forth but Cachezilla was eventually victorious and Megamuggle was banished back to the bottomless abyss from where he came, never to be seen again. Unfortunately during the battle much of the area we now know as Thetis Lake Park was destroyed and left a barren wasteland. Cachezilla returned the cache to it's perch and over time the battlefield recovered and returned to it's former glory - a beautiful, lush forest. The cache is located about 25m off of Trillium Trail, please help keep this area beautiful and tread lightly (unlike the hulking behemoths that once did battle in this very area).
