My daughter loves aquatic creatures and wants to place a series of caches named after aquatic animals. This one is the first in the series.
Congratulations to Sail_ho on their first find!
Large ammo can placed on 5-25-2019. Was formerly a camo-covered peanut butter container.
Manatees are large, fully aquatic, mostly herbivorous marine mammals sometimes known as sea cows. They measure up to 13 feet long, weigh as much as 1,300 pounds, and have paddle-like flippers. Half a manatee's day is spent sleeping in the water, surfacing for air regularly at intervals no greater than 20 minutes. Manatees spend most of the rest of the time grazing in shallow waters at depths of 3-6 feet. Manatees inhabit the shallow, marshy coastal areas and rivers of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, the Amazon Basin, and West Africa.
Congratulations to grampa bob 14 on FTF!
