Come let us do some good to the Tswaing Meteorite Crater environment!!!

During the Tswaing Crater Sleepover event of last year (2012), we realised the need to do some good to the Tswaing Meteorite Crater as we found lots of trash lying around.  This year we are going to do just that....


Please join us at this CITO Event, where we plan to clean up the area from the start of the Tswaing Meteorite Crater walking trail.

Let's try to collect as much trash as possible all the way and especially inside the crater area. Our small gesture will make a large difference to this wonderful environment in and around the Tswaing Meteorite Crater.

With our help we will make the task of Tswaing Crater Management a little easier and give back something to nature and for playing our game.

Date: Saturday, 13 July 2013
Time: 09h00 to 13h00 or as soon as we have finished the walk.

What will be provided:

  • Dustbin bags
What you will need to bring:
  • Gloves
  • Comfortable walking shoes/hiking boots
  • A sharp pointy stick or metal rod
  • Water to drink
  • Sunhat and sunscreen
  • Raincoat (in case it rains)
  • Insect repellant for those huge mozzies we found here two years ago.

After the dustbin bags have been filled:
