_______________________________

Dedicated to You, a Free Citizen in a Free Land

This reproduction of the Liberty Bell was presented to the people of Arizona by direction of the Honorable John W. Snyder, Secretary of the Treasury.

As the inspirational symbol of the United States Savings Bonds Independence Drive from ____ to ____, it was displayed in every part of the state.

The dimensions and tone are identical with those of the original Liberty Bell when it rang out our independence in 1776.

In standing before this symbol, you have the opportunity to dedicate yourself, as did our founding fathers, to the principles of the individual freedom for which our nation stands.

This bell is one of fifty-three cast in France in 1950, and given to the United States government by (several copper mining companies).
_______________________________

Take a few moments and wander around the area. There are numerous other memorials dedicated to those who lost their lives in the defense of freedom. Also, take a look inside the Arizona Capitol Museum.

This is NOT an internet search cache. In order to get credit for this virtual cache you must do 3 things:

1) You must first visit the cache site,

2) You must e-mail me the DATES I left blank above from the plaque above the bell (just the dates, not the names of the mining companies), and

3) You must post a photo of yourself in front of the bell.

You don't have to wait for an email response from me in order to post your log, you can post your log at the same time you send me the answer. Don't post your answer here, even if encryped. But logs without either answers or photos are subject to being deleted without notice.

Note: The Bell is often moved and displayed at the Gilbert, AZ celebration of Constitution Week USA each September. If it is not at the above coordinates during September, it should return shortly.
