This cache is located on Beek Rock, one of three small islands on the north side of Spanish Point Park, in Pembroke Parish.
Enjoy views of the north shore, the channel entrance to the Great Sound and Hamilton Harbour, and Dockyard.
Beek Rock is home to plant life that includes Seaside Purselane and Sea Ox-Eye. Beneath the waves between the mainland and Beek Rock is a seagrass bed of Turtle Grass, a favorite food of green turtles.
The area is perfect for snorkeling and picnic tables and benches are available. During the summer months this park can become busy, especially during the Cup Match holiday when many locals set up camp in the park.
Finding the cache may require a short swim or wade depending on the tide. You may want to visit the Bermuda Weather Service http://www.weather.bm to check for the tides.
Please wear something on your feet.
The park is open year round and parking is available.
Please tread lightly.
