Geocache Description:

Micro bison tube container with log only

Originally the Church School and schoolmaster’s residence. It was built from English bonded brick recovered from the old church (1843). John Horbury Hunt designed the main part of the Hall. The front section of the school has its triple arch porch. It is a good example of Hunt’s high Victorian brick style and the only known example of its type in the Hunter Valley. The schoolmaster’s residence to the side has a stone flagged verandah along the western frontage and tall brick chimneys.
