THE PURPOSE OF THIS CACHE IS TO ATTRACT VISITORS TO LATTA PLANTATION NATURE PRESERVE AND NATURE CENTER, SHOW WHAT MECKLENBURG COUNTY NATURE PRESERVES HAVE TO OFFER, TO MAKE VISITORS AWARE OF OUR MANY CONSERVATION/PRESERVATION EFFORTS AND HOW THOSE EFFORTS BENEFIT THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY AND TO PROMOTE THE GREAT SPORT OF GEOCACHING. Permit #012

Find this cache in a place where a tiny toad (or gnome!) may live. We have lots of animals that make Latta Nature Preserve their home - please be respectful of their homes as you enjoy our geocaches and always watch where you step :) !
