We have Motorway Mayhem. Moreover, what about public transport users I hear you say? Sidetracked Caches are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at train stations. It is hoped this idea will spread across the country in the same way as the MMs.
Sunbury Station is on the Shepperton Branch Line is a railway line in the south west of London. It is also known as the Shepperton Line though on opening it was named The Thames Valley Railway. It connects to the Kingston Loop by a triangular junction between Strawberry Hill and Teddington stations. The line opened on 1 November 1864 with access only from the Twickenham direction, (Strawberry Hill station did not open until 1873.) The curve linking Fulwell and Teddington opened to freight on 1 July 1894 and first carried passengers on 1 June 1901. The line was electrified by the L&SWR using 650v DC third rail on 1 January 1916. The original scheme intended that it would extend to a terminus on the Middlesex bank of the River Thames just north of Chertsey, but this plan was abandoned in 1862.
You are looking for a 35mm film pot. Please replace the cache exactly as found; you are not required to enter the station.
Please bring pen, stamp or pencil to sign the log. There can be lots of muggle activity here, especially at train arrival / departure times so extreme stealth must be used Although not on station land, the cache can be in direct view of the platform so watch out for muggles waiting for trains. A little something extra for the FTF Have fun CONGRATS TO RODZ and BLUESTU for FTF. Hope the card was lucky
