Geocache Description:

It's hard to tell from ground level but there is an island in this large pond.  From any map view you can't miss it.



To get to this cache park at the top of La Honda Drive.  Head up the paved Ranch House Road and then make a right on Middle Pond Trail.  Hike along until you arrive at the cache location.  You can only reach the cache from the path.  Afterwards please place it back as you found it, if not better.

Bring water, something to write with, and in case of an emergency a cell phone; you'll have good coverage in this area of the ranch.  Be sure to also bring info on the other caches along the way and in the area so you can make it a more productive hike.  And check out the Daley Ranch Roundup Challenge.
