Halfway - is an area once used by bicycle riders. Access - via a retired logging road, along the Natural Gas Pipeline. The area allows public access and is not restricted. The best parking access will be at the west end of Malone Road, Ladysmith, (an alternative - Brown Drive Park, Colonia Dr. and Brown Drive., Ladysmith). Seasonal access via Comox Logging Road – not recommended during the rainy season.
This series of Caches could be called the Tyee Creek Loop. This cache is halfway round. The route will take you uphill, then along the Natural Gas pipeline, for a short distance, and then back to the start. Not too strenuous, but definitely NOT wheelchair accessible. The cache is located 2 m. off a bike trail, which is 20 m. off the gas line. No bushwacking required.
The cache is a camoed, plastic, one Kg. nut container.
