Dear Abby,
What's Heaven like?
Signed, Grateful Reader
Pauline Phillips, under the pen name of Abigal Van Buren was a contributer to many a household's or workplace's day as the Dear Abby column was read to those gathered around the breakfast or lunch time table. Many of us grew up learning right from wrong, manners, and just general common sense from the discussions which her column and the column of her twin sister (“Ann Landers”) prompted. Not only was she smart and wise, but I always thought her to be quite beautiful. Now I cannot honestly say I agreed with all her advice, but she did play an important part in the development of my conscience. Therefore when I heard of her death the day I was creating my first cache, I knew I had to name it in honor of Pauline Phillips and stash it somewhere appropriate. Brownie points if you can figure out how this location would be considered appropriate. Log a favorite memory of a Dear Abby column if you wish.
Rest in Peace Pauline
