Geocache Description:

This cache is now at the posted coordinates. To log it, you have to satisfy the challenge requirements, which involve finding 12 other caches. This Challenge is based on GC3D7D9, that I logged in Michigan. That one was based on GC26395 in California.

I love finding caches that haven't been found in quite some time. Mine usually require a long hike, but you might like a tough puzzle, or just caches off the beaten path. This challenge cache encourages you to seek out those forgotten caches. The requirements of this Challenge are to find 12 caches as follows: 1) Find a cache last found in the previous month. 2) Find a cache last found two months ago. 3) Find a cache last found three months ago. 4) Find a cache last found four months ago. 5) Find a cache last found five months ago. 6) Find a cache last found six months ago. 7) Find a cache last found seven months ago. 8) Find a cache last found eight months ago. 9) Find a cache last found nine months ago. 10) Find a cache last found ten months ago. 11) Find a cache last found eleven months ago. 12) Find a cache last found twelve months ago. You can find these 12 caches in any order. Finds prior to the publication of this Challenge count. Finds don't have to be in New Hampshire, so all your finds anywhere count. Don't worry about the date of the month when deciding if your finds qualify. The log dates on geocaching.com are considered the official dates. EXAMPLE 1: On June 30th, you find a cache that was last found on March 1st of the same year. That counts for your 3 month cache, since the cache was last found 3 months ago (March, April, May). EXAMPLE 2: On September 1st, you find a cache that was last found the previous day, August 31st. That counts for your 1 month cache, since August to September is 1 month. EXAMPLE 3: You can't use a cache that was last found 13 months or more as a substitute for the 12 month requirement. You can log those caches for bragging rights, but you have to find the 12 caches to qualify. EXAMPLE 4: If you are First To Find on a cache, you may count the months since the date the cache was placed. EXAMPLE 5: If you find a cache with a group, all of you may count the months since the find prior to your group find. Non-physical caches, such as EarthCaches, Virtual Caches, and Webcam Caches do qualify for this Challenge. In your "found it" log, describe how you qualify for this challenge in any way that will convince me you have met the requirements. (I will send you a note if I don't think you have qualified.) Here's how you could post your log showing that you qualify for this cache: 1. GC2CVPY Emerson/Pinkham Cemetery - found 11/9/11 - last found 10/23/11 2. GC1Q0P2 The Angry Beaver - found 11/25/11 - last found 9/13/11 3. GCWK09 High Bear Nation - found 12/26/11 - last found 9/10/11 4. GC2PC2Q Woodmans - found 3/10/12 - last found 11/20/11 5. GC1A9HY Nice Place Up Hear! - Where are the Owls? - found 1/1/13 - last found 1/8/12 I've been told that if you have GSAK http://www.gsak.net/ and a database of your finds, the macro referenced here will do all the work for you: http://gsak.net/board/index.php?act=ST&f=37&t=21351 Okay, I know the trails near the GZ are a little sketchy, but follow the pails hanging in the trees - what is that about?!?, and things should get clearer. The cache location is not overly winter-friendly, but it should be geo-obvious up to about 3 feet of snow. You might have to dig a little to come up with the cache. Sorry.
