Geocache Description:

As a Professional Firefighter, it isn't uncommon for me to start my mornings with a mug of coffee in the firehouse surrounded by generations of firefighting equipment.  Now is the opportunity for geocachers to do the same with a coffee and caching get-together at The Firehouse Cafe, a firefighting themed cafe featuring a firefighting staff and a cozy atmosphere complete with turnout gear, helmets, wheeled extinguishers and other tools of the trade!

Onset Fire Deputy Jeff Osswald and Firefighter / Dispatcher Carolyn Osswald have offered The Firehouse Cafe as a setting for a unique early morning geocaching event on Friday, February 01, 2013 from 06:00 am until 08:00 am.
 
Located at 239 Onset Avenue in Onset, The Firehouse Cafe sits in the middle of scenic and historic Onset Center next to Onset Fire Headquarters.  Since The Firehouse Cafe shares a parking lot with Onset Fire, cachers and customers may well experience the station's horn when firefighters are recalled for emergencies in town.
 
There are a number of noteworthy caches in walking distance of The Firehouse Cafe, including Welcome To Onset, Welcome to Onset - The Band Shell, and Welcome to Onset - Shell Point to tackle after the event.
 
If you're really feeling adventurous, you are invited to brave the Cape Cod Train Heist Wherigo and (hopefully) put a stop to Deadpan Doyle's mischief!
