This cache is not a sequel to the one placed just to the east. The original cache necessitated that some cachers wear gloves. It was a crab filled with a bison, and looked very real. Unfortunately, it finally got muggled and has been replaced with a heavily camoed pill bottle. The new cache container is located in nearly the same place along a beach trail that was developed in 2013. If you approach from the ferry, you will need to down-climb a little and walk along the beach to reach the main trail. (terrain rating a 2). However, if you approach from the given parking coordinates, the cache can easily be accessed from a well-developed level trail (terrain rating a 1.5).
BYOP and please hide this one so that it is not visible by those who pass by, and placed snug against and high on the rusty brace, guarding it from high surf. Beware of snoopy eyes, as this foot trail has high muggle traffic., and the bench is often occupied. A generous hint is provided, so to minimize your search time and reduce the chance of muggle theft.
