Geocache Description:

A great place for a quick stop and a little history too.

This well is a historic site. It was an important source of water for the local aboriginal people and Edward John Eyre. Eyre set up his base camp here on his famous expedition from Port Lincoln to Western Australia in 1840.

If you take a short walk from the car park u will find a path that takes you to the waterhole, take the time and have a look.

The cache your looking for is a quick drive by a few metres from the carpark, a medium sized sistemak container with a log book, pencil and heap of swappables.
