Scouting Around Traditional Cache

Haw0006: Thanks to more than 252 people who found this cache over the years including many of the local scouts.

I understand the oval will be used for the construction of north east link soon so I will archive this cache and reflect on the excitement it created for many.

I’ll potentially hide a new cache in the future around the scout hall once the construction work in the area has completed. Alternatively another geocacher might come up with something new and fun to hide in the area.

Geocache Description:

This Geocache is located in A.K Lines Reserve where the Watsonia Scout Hall and a Footy club are situated.If you turn left off Grimshaw st you can park somewhhere around the oval. In the short distance you can also see the Watsonia Abseiling Tower. Bring the Footy or the Cricket Bat if you want something else to do. You won't have to walk far to the cache and the terrain is flat.

There shouldn't be too many people around the park unless there is a footy or cricket match on, and you won't be seen from the main road. The cache is at about knee height in a well camouflaged container. Make sure you attach the container to the lid and then put the lid on. GOOD LUCK!
