One aspect of Geocaching that is often overlooked, is the fabulous Earthcaches. These are the caches that teach us an Earth Science lesson & take us to exotic spots or remote areas where we get a chance to marvel at this place we call Earth. My love of Earthcaches grew exponentially when I attended the first ever International Earthcache Mega Event outside of Portland ME Labour Day 2012. This was a great weekend to learn more about the sport including how to have an Earthcache published. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet the GeoEarth groupies from around the world and share their love for Earthcaching. Some of the best Earthcaches are within 300 kilometers of our Picture Province.
To log this Challenge, you must have found at least ten (Roman Numerals X) Earthcaches. All finds will be verified and any finds that do not meet this Challenge will be deleted. You may also state your favourite Earthcache & post a photo. Thanks for sharing!
