A placement near an archived cache. An area of significant history and a lot of the places known today by other names were originally named after this range of hills.
This whole area was once known as Blackstone and even today the pub at Ophir is still known as Blacks.
The range of hills at the back of this area are known as Blackstone Hill and it appears to run from Omakau right through to Hillies Creek.
