As I reflect on the many geocaches I have attempted to find and the many ones I have placed, I realize I could only do this with the help of our local geocache reviewers. BrindleDog has been very busy helping the geocaching community build the 127 Power trail. I published 11 myself in one day to add to the power trail and Brindledog looked at each one, made sure they were safe, within guidelines and then published them.....pay free! I want to be sure to say Thank You! So as all of you geocachers power trail your fannies off, remember to pause and thank the geocache reviewers who help make this game so fun! Along the geocaching way I have to THANK BrindleDog, TheScarlettReviewer, The Mad reviewer, Reviewer Webling and Hoosier Reviewer. And then for all of the caches I have attempted there are even more to thank. I think the article by Eric Schuiske in Lattitude 47 on 1/13/11 explains it best. "Volunteer reviewers power Geocaching.com by reviewing and publishing each geocache. They. Work. Hard. As a geocacher you can now choose your own adventure from more than 1.2 million geocaches hidden around the world. Each geocache offers you a custom-made journey to explore your world, and each geocache has the fingerprints of a volunteer reviewer on it. The volunteer review team is made up of more than 200 reviewers, from Canada to Japan and the United Kingdom to South Africa. These men and women published more than a 250,000 geocaches last year alone."
