ResTop Traditional Cache

A small camouflaged lock-n-lock container hidden at the highest point along the hiking/snowmobile trail across the road from Lake Eaton Campground.  This cache provides a good rest stop after climbing the hill. It is not far from the trail, but you will have to work a little bit for this one. 

 

This cache was hidden for the 2013 Mid-Winter Geocaching Get Together.  It is one of a few hidden along a snowmobile trail.  In winter, I recommend snowshoes, x-country skis, or snowmobiles on this trail.  In summer this trail can be muddy and rugged but certainly worth hiking.  During hunting season, please dress appropriately!

 

This trail can be done as part of a 4-mile loop from the Lake Eaton Campground.  The trail crosses the highway (Route 30) at N 43 59.807 W 074 27.896.
