It was our first date, we were both so nervous. We spent a long fun day along the waterfront, we bought gourmet caramel apples, and enjoyed scenery along the many different piers. As the day came to a close, we sat here at this pier, and watched the sunset together. With that, we shared a perfect moment to end a perfect day. Now more than 10 years from that day, we are still together, happier than either one of us could have ever imagined! This geocache is in honor of that special day.
*Update*
As of August 29th, 2015. 7 years after our first kiss, 2 and a half years after publishing this cache, we became husband and wife!
*Further Update*
On May 25th, 2016, Emily, our first child was born. Right here in the fine city of SF none the less!
*Yet Another Further Update*
On 8/18/2018, International Geocaching Day of all days, Celeste, our SECOND child was born!!! Also right here in SF.
Use stealth when retrieving and returning this cache to it's place. This is usually a very muggle heavy area.
Parking will most likely be a nightmare, most nearby parking garages will charge you a pretty penny. When I placed this I just took the Bart train in and walked over here from the Embarcadero station. However you decide to travel to this location, good luck! For the most part, I recommend just going for this one whenever you happen to be in the area already.
