Geocache Description:

Welcome to my little tour of West Wicklow, the West Side Story series! These are some of my favourite spots to visit and I hope you enjoy them.

This one, the fourth of the series, is in Donard. This has always been one of my favourite walks. The majority of the route is on a path with beautiful views of all of West Wicklow and Kildare. You can see all the surrounding mountains and lakes from this track and even some deer if you are lucky. If you have dogs with you keep them close as the main path can be used for horse riding too.

When you think you have come to the end of the path cross over a little mound to the right to reveal a track heading straight up to the top of Church Mountain. This is a steep climb but stay along the fence until you are close to cache coordinates. Make sure to take a breather and look behind you to take in the scenery. 

Please close cache properly and rehide as you have found it.

Once youve found this cache why not continue on up to the top of Church mountain and find 46  A walk in the garden, sure youre nearly there at this point  only another km. One of my favourite finds!!
