The Wheatland Ferry will transport you as a pedestrain for free! (Passenger vehicles cost $2 each way.) Watching the Willamette River roll on by can be a lot of fun, especially during the winter months when it's really full and moving. This is also an ideal place to park your car (day use fee required) and stroll, or cycle, the pathways into the Willamette Mission State Park.
This geocache will be a fairly easy find, and not too tough to get to, especially in the Winter. If the brush happens to grow up during the Summer months, you can find an alternate access trail off the main road.
Take a good look at the size of the structure that helps make the Wheatland Ferry possible while you are in the area. Okay, now go find it and "happy geocaching"!
