Geocache Description:

Take a book, leave a book!

Believed to the the first of it's kind in Saskatchewan, this labour of love has remarkable craftsmanship and has been a highlight of the locals. It promotes literacy, and a sense of community at the same time. Now geocachers can enjoy it too! The coordinates should be pretty accurate, but I doubt you'll have any difficulty locating it once you are near.

It has been featured on CBC News, CJME News, a Global video and article, the Buzz, the Radville & Deep South Star, to name just a few.

The owner spent weeks constructing this container, and in June 2012 when it was completed, himself and his wife each put in 10 books, and within a week all of them were swapped for others. The idea came from the Little Free Library project that has swept across the US, and is now appearing in places all over the world, and has proven popular here in Regina.

The property owner has graciously permitted the placement of this Geocache, so please respect the container(s), and replace the geocache exactly as you found it. Of course, feel free to partake in a book swap if you feel so inclined! There's new books almost every day.

Congrats to beanbunny on their FTF!!!
