Parking is at the west end of Malone Road, Ladysmith. Follow the logging road up to the Power line and continue. This group of 7 caches could be called the Rocky Creek Loop (however the Geocaching map calls it Tyee Creek). The entire walk will take less than 2 hours, on a solid road surface. There are gradual uphill climbs.
If you parked at the suggested parking area, you are now on the return route, to the power line. The trail is a retired logging road, but you need to take a path to reach this cache. After finding the cache you can continueon, or return to the road. Along the trail you can hear Tyee Creek down below. The cache is 4 m. off the path. The container is a 1KG square plastic container.
Inside you will discover a bunch of collector pins from amateur hockey leagues/teams around the province – some of which are no longer in existence. Please trade to keep them going.
