This is the 3rd and final of a series we put out on this MLK Day 2013. As you have learned a little history of Freestone County on this ride, we end this at an old, quiet back road cemetery. The cemetery itself looks to be well maintained, but the outer areas are filled with trash and debris. It would be awesome if cachers carried a trash bag and helped clean up a little around the area....kind of a CITO service to the ones who are laid to rest and future visitors.
Cache is located outside the cemetery perimeter. It is not necessary to enter the gates. It would be advisable to wear long pants and long sleeves as cache is in some greenery. Depending on which route you take to get to cache, be mindful of a pointy green plant that will stick you. Also, be careful of debris and trash and critters that may be lurking. I'm thinking this is not one I'd do at night. But to each his own. Please be respectful. Cache is a large camo colored container filled with lots of good swag. Please trade out comparable items so it's fun for the next cacher. BYOP to make your geomark. Happy Caching!
