Nut Bush City Limits Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AdamskiB: I really liked this cache, and was pleased with the name and location.
Sadly this was too attractive to muggles (too nice a term for a vandal, don't you think...) who damaged the tree and stole the container on a couple of occasions.
I may in time find another more favourable City Limits site and resurrect this but I cannot leave it temporarily disabled forever.

Geocache Description:

In 1973, Ike & Tina Turner released the song - Nutbush City Limits, which Tina had written about her home town of Nutbush.
The town of Nutbush did not officially have city limits, but my home town of Edinburgh sure does and this is what inspired the placing of my geocache here.

Welcome to my home town, Edinburgh.

There are loads of geocaches in and around Edinburgh, some quite near to this spot.
The population is nearly 500,000, that's a lot of muggles, so beware!
There is a busy main road passing this site so take care, there is plenty parking nearby.
Balerno, Currie, Juniper Green, Colinton - all villages which form part of Edinburgh, but they like their independence. Now here at this cache site we are most definitely within the city limits of Edinburgh.
