This is a Traditional cache set in a lovely picturesque setting overlooking Lake Wurdiboluc Reservoir.
After coming to this spot every day during the school terms to drop my son off for the school bus, It got me thinking that this would be a great spot for a cache.
When you reach GZ you should find easy parking on the side of the road, this spot overlooks the Wurdiboluc Reservoir.
This Reservoir is the major water supply for geelong, when full the Reservoir covers an area of around 540 Ha and is a great spot for the fishing enthusiast.
Wensleydale was the terminus of a railway line which branched from the Port Fairy line near Moriac. The line opened in 1890 and was used to transport firewood, gravel and brown coal out of the area. This was closed in 1948.
Now to the Cache! You are looking for a 400ml container with all the usual swaps inside.
