Geocache Description:

Twenty Flight Rock

UPDATE March 27, 2021: Uploaded a spoiler photo.

The seventh in my series of caches named after Rolling Stones songs. You will feel like you climbed 20 flights of stairs to get to this. This one is definitely more challenging than my previous caches, both in difficulty and terrain.

Located in Spring Creek Park in Brookside. I only recently discovered this trail while while caching in the area. I was surprised there wasn't already a cache along this trail.

Park in the Spring Creek Park parking lot. Go across the foot bridge and then go left. When the trail forks take the left fork. The trail is steep in places and there are some loose rocks. Cache is about 40 feet off the trail. The view is great all along the trail and I strongly recommend you hike the trail to the end. There are several other caches in the area that are worth going after. Muggles are not likely to be a problem--there never seems to be many people in this park. Park hours are 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The cache is a camo'd jar, about one quart in size. Original contents include a Hex Bug, 1953 Wheat Straw Penny, key chain, golf ball, log, pen & some miscellaneous swag. There is also a travel bug that is just starting his journey.

Congratulations to Rushmanandfarmgirl79 for the FTF. You must have been sitting in your car with the motor running.:)

Twenty Flight Rock was originally recorded by Eddie Cochran and released in 1957. The Rolling Stones performed this song live many times but never included it on any of their studio albums. It was included on a live album, "Still Life," released in 1982. Interesting bit of trivia: This is the song Paul McCartney played when he auditioned for John Lennon.

Oh well, I've got a girl with a record machine
When it comes to rockin' she's the queen
We love to dance on a Saturday night
All alone, I can hold her tight
But she lives in a twentiest floor up town
The elevator's broken down

So I walked one, two flight, three flight, four
Five, six, seven flight, eight flight more
Up on the twelfth I started to drag
Fifteenth floor I'm ready to sag
Get to the top, I'm too tired to rock

9-rushman&farmgirl79 got the FTF
