Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache should be fairly simple, you will need a car to get from point to point. There are three locations involved.
The older folks that geocache might do this and think of it as a walk down memory lane. To the younger people this might be a history lesson.
The first part of this cache will be located at N 40 29.519 W 078 24.395 At this location you will see a blue historiacal note sign. There will be several years on it. Look at the 3rd year on the sign. Those numbers will be needed to find the second part. Those coordinates are N 40 32.(3rd)7(1st) W 07(2nd) 2(4th).519. Here there will be an area very nice for a walk. It is also a high populated area depending the day and season. Find the visitors parking. At this location feel free to take a stroll and look for aother sign. Take note of the numbers on this sign. It will be a very small number and the only number on the sign. The coordinates for the last part and the actual cache will be N 40 32.27(1st) and W 078 22.93(2nd). These coordinates will take you to a spot in Juniata. Severely damaged by fire in October 1945, the Juniata Theatre reopened in June 1946. It had one screen and 488 seats. The building is now vacant and you will find a cache along the lot beside it.
You will need a pen, this is only a log. Happy Caching ya'll!
