Geocache Description:

VERY KID FRIENDLY

The Maricopa Trail (MT) is a project in the making, when completed, will connect all ten county parks in Maricopa County. The non-motorized trail will be 242 miles in length and projected to be completed in 2014.

The Maricopa Trail passes through State Trust Lands throughout the whole area. The county obtained right-of-way from the state to place the trail. Only bikes, hikers and horses are allowed on the trail but if you have a state pass, there are places you can drive to get to some of the many caches located throughout the Maricopa Trail. If you park at the location indicated in the "hint", you can see the Maricopa Trail sign to the southeast. It is less than a mile of easy walking to get to this cache and there are other caches in the area.

TO LOG YOUR CACHE YOU MUST CATCH YOUR OWN CACHE.

Congratulations to Herdofhuffs and Herdofhuffsir for being the first boat load to land this lunker.
