After a nice walk out on Bad Man ridge to ensure all was right in the world, the Bad Man decided it might be interesting to come down off the mountains, and loiter in the valley, what could be down there? Was something waiting, dark, deep, somewhere to call home?
So at a meeting of 5 ways, he dropped down a very disused fire trail, down, down, down, the journey down this narrow gulley was an adventure in itself. He saw things on the way down here that most would ignore, but not so in the bad man, it stirred yearnings and urges...
He popped out at a firetrail where fallen giants lay, he quickly crossed and plunged back into the bush once more, he felt more at home amongst the scratchy scrub, a dry creek was crossed under a strange raised tube, what could it be for? Could he mount it and put something up there??
Another trail was found, a huge boulder was rounded and his jaw hit the ground with what he saw before him, an involuntary peel of maniacal laughter burst forth, birds flew out of trees at the sound of this guttural laughing.
He dashed too and fro, evidence of others before him was found in many locations, he did not care, he continued exploring and marvelling at what he found around every new corner, in every deep hole, finally, he came to a spot, a way up perhaps? It looked narrow, it looked slippery....
How you get to this cache is up to you, there is ONLY one spot this can be hidden, assuming you are in the correct spot. if you are not careful, you could get SERIOUSLY hurt or worse if you slip on the mountain of leaf litter here. There is a convenient tree if you wish to tie a rope for safety, or, you could just really watch how you plant your feet.
There is evidence of others passing past the cache location, the ammo can is deep, with a single rock hiding it, retrieving and replacing the cache, you will need to tilt the ammo box up and down. When replacing, ensure it is ALL the way in, then, place the rock in front, just one, don't over cammo it. DON'T let the rock slide and loose that rock, it took me a while to find one that fitted.
Explore the area, enjoy the area, just be careful in the area.
