БЪЛГАРСКИ

Катедрален храм „Свети Йосиф“ е най-големият католически църковен храм в България. Той се намира в София и е конкатедрала (съкатедрала) на Софийско-Пловдивската епархия заедно с пловдивската катедрала „Свети Лудвиг“.

„Свети Йосиф“ днес е най-голямата католическа катедрала в България, разполага с 350 места за сядане и може да побере до 1 000 богомолци. Катедралата е дълга 23 м, широка е 15 м, висока е 19 м. Основният корпус на сградата заедно с покрива е с височина 23 метра, а камбанарията, оборудвана с 4 електронно задействащи се камбани, е висока 33 метра. Катедралата е оборудвана и с орган, а над олтара се извисява 7-метров дървен кръст на Христос. Под кръста се намира иконата на Богородица, подарена от патриарх Максим по време на освещаването на храма. От двете страни на презвитериума се намират две статуи - на патрона на катедралата Свети Йосиф и на патрона на капуцините Свети Франциск от Асизи.

От дясната страна при входа се намира иконата на Божието Милосърдие с надпис: „Исусе, уповавам се на Тебе!“. Тази икона е свързана с набожността към Божието Милосърдие и с явлението на Исус на Света Фаустина Ковалска. При входа се намира и статуята на Дева Мария, която в Лурд през 1858 г. се явява на Света Бернадета Субиру, за да се обяви като непорочно зачената. От другата страна на портата на катедралата се намират статуите на едни от най-популярни светци в Католическата църква - Света Тереза от Младенеца Исус, боса кармелитка, и Свети Антон от Падуа, францисканец.

При оградата на катедралата се намира статуята на блажения папа Йоан XXIII, която е осветена от папа Йоан Павел II при посещението му през 2002 г. в енорията.

В непосредствена близост до катедралата се намират и разкопките на "Западна порта на древния град Сердика".

The Cathedral of St Joseph is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It is the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Sofia and Plovdiv, together with the Cathedral of St Louis in Plovdiv. "Saint Joseph" is the largest Catholic cathedral in Bulgaria has 350 seats and can hold up to 1,000 worshipers. The cathedral is 23 meters long, 15 meters wide is, is 19 meters high main body of the building with a roof height of 23 meters and the tower is equipped with four electronically operated bells, is 33 meters high. The cathedral is equipped with body and over the altar stands 7 meter wooden cross of Christ. Under cross is the icon of Mary (mother of Jesus), given by Patriarch Maxim at the dedication of the temple.

On both sides of presbytery are two statues - the patron of St. Joseph Cathedral and Capuchin patron St. Francis of Assisi.

On the right side of the entrance is the icon of God's Mercy with the inscription: "Jesus, I trust to thee." This icon is linked to the devotion to the Divine Mercy and the coming of Jesus into the world Faustina Kowalska. At the entrance is the statue of the Mary (mother of Jesus) in Lourdes in 1858 appeared to St. Bernadette Subiru to be declared as a pure conception. On the other side of the gate of the cathedral are the statues of some of the most popular saints in the Catholic Church - St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Carmelite barefoot and St Anton from Padua Franciscan.

To the fence of the cathedral is a statue of Blessed Pope John XXIII, which was consecrated by Pope John Paul II during his visit in 2002 in the parish.

Next to the cathedral is located and excavated the "Western Gate of the ancient city of Serdica"
