The Oparara Basin is about a 45min drive, 25km, north of Karamea, via a gravel road. The road is not suitable for larger campervans or buses.
There is an impressive shelter containing several information panels pertaining to the various features contained within this amazing area as well as picnic tables.
The cache is placed to be easily accessible but in full view of any muggles so stealth will often be required.
