Here's a little out of the way spot that not too many people know about, except for the locals who launch boats from here. There is a public boat ramp here and an adjacent picnic area along a canal which takes you out to the scenic Tulls Creek. If you have a boat, bring it and enjoy a really nice secluded waterway just off the main road to the OBX.
Small homemade camo container with log book and pen. Take something, leave something, and please take some trash out with you. This is a nice out of the way spot that could use a little TLC when it comes to the litter. There's a parking area for boats and trailers and then there is another driveway off Poyner Road that takes you to the picnic area where the cache is located. You can park either place. Not too far of a walk.
