Geocache Description:

From Glenorchy on the Routeburn Road you can follow the Diamond Creek track up to Reid Lake. This track is sometimes boggy as it is one of Glenorchy's wet lands allowing great viewing of birdlife and magnificent mountain views of Paradise and the Dart Valley. It is a 40 minute return walk.  There is excellent fishing in this area.   If you continue along the road you will come to Kinloch.  Kinloch is a fisherman’s heaven with trout and salmon. Kinloch is located mid-way between the Routeburn and Greenstone/Caples Tracks. Kinloch has a rich history and was originally built as a staging point en-route to Martins Bay on the West Coast. From Kinloch Milford Sound is a mere 36 kilometers away yet nearly 400 kilometers drive by road.

The cache is hidden above ground level (hopefully above flood level!). It is a regular sized camouflaged container with plenty of room for swaps.  Please ensure the container is hidden carefully.
