Geocache Description:

A treasure clue, map and short journey with real treasure to retrieve!

Congratulations - EngPhil - on FTF!!

Many Many Years ago intrepid explorer and pirate Catherine completed her epic journey around the world.
She was old and tired and had no need for the great treasures she had accumulated.
Thinking of all fellow explorers and wanting to leave them something, she hid her treasure in a great chest.  She drew a map and hid the location of the treasure on the map.
The map has aged and names have changed but the treasure remains.
Near the co-ordinates you will find a sign to decode the map.

The sign is Marked "Ostendo Ter Veritas" which in the old tongue means "Reveal thrice the Truth"

Below the marked initials 3 digits then appear that uniquely identify the number of this sign.

Using the ancient science of numerology convert these digits to a single digit.   This digit marks the spot on the map at which the treasure is revealed.

You yourself as you stand at the sign are at spot X.  You need to go to the number now on the map and get your treasure.  Beware though of the spells and charms that surround the treasure especially if you are First To Find and get the Aussie Skull and Cross Bones!  The skull apon the lid is to deter all non-cachers.  Those who have decoded the clue and whose hearts are true may proceed without fear.

Note: there are many trinkets in the chest.  All who visit may take one, they do not require you to bring a swappable.  They are there as an appreciation to all the explorers large and small that make up this great caching community.

And once you are there the cache is underneath:
