'Here was Sunaba'
It is not the sandbox where children play.
Sunaba with the history that is the longest at soba noodle shop in Edo(Tokyo).
This monument was built in commemoration of soba noodle shop(origin of Sunaba) birth 400 years in Osaka.

「ここに砂場ありき」
といっても子供達が遊ぶ砂場ではありません。
江戸のそば屋で最も長い歴史を持つ「砂場」のことなんです。
大阪のそば屋(砂場)誕生４００年を記念して建てられた石碑です。
