Geocache Description:

This cache will drive you to the newest part of the beautiful Flisvos marina. With a lot of empty space, few visitors and splendid views, this part of the marina is ideal for a seaside walk, a bike ride or roller skating.

Enter the marina at N 37° 55.961 E 023° 41.121.
On your way to the cache, at your right-hand side, you will notice the famous battleship AVEROF, today functioning as a museum, part of the Floating Naval Museums of the Hellenic Navy. A few meters further lies another amazing exhibit, OLYMPIAS, a reconstruction of an ancient athenian trireme. In the oldest part of Flisvos marina there are some very nice cafes and restaurants for enjoying a nice and relaxing stop, after your geocaching experience!

The ideal way for visiting this cache is by bicycle, but the marina is also easily reachable by tram (get out at the Trocadero Tram station). The cache is a small plastic container. There is a FTF certificate and some nice sea shells for the first finders, for trade or for picking up as a present!

Please note that, although reaching the cache is generally very easy, you will have to walk through a rough rocky terrain on a breakwater for the last part (about 60 meters).

Enjoy!
