[FR] A Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire, un petit bâtiment est perdu au milieu des champs et des vignes : l'observatoire astronomique. [EN] Near Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire, a small building is lost in the middle of fields and vineyards : the astronomical observatory.
[FR] Cet observatoire a été construit grâce au département du Maine et Loire, à la Région des Pays de Loire, à la ville d'Angers, au Ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports et à l'Association Astronomique d'Anjou.
Le site comprend deux bâtiments : le bâtiment rectangulaire abritait un télescope de 250 mm qui a été volé et le bâtiment avec la coupole (5 m de diamètre), emblématique des observatoires astronomiques, est équipé d'un télescope de 400 mm.
L'association qui gère le site a réalisé un cadran solaire analemmatique et envisage d'autres projets similaires. Elle a équipé le site de dalles et de poteaux qui servent à la mise en place de différents instruments d'observation.
Une soirée d'initiation gratuite est proposée chaque mois.

La cache est une boîte d'environ 6 x 9 cm qui permet la dépose et l'échange d'objets.
Suivant le thème/challenge des caches "VERTes", le dépôt d'objets exclusivement "VERTs" sera apprécié.
Attention : l'endroit est à découvert : soyez discret et replacez bien le camouflage pour que la cache vive longtemps pour le plaisir de tous.

[EN] This observatory was built thanks to the department of Maine-et-Loire, to the Region of Pays-de-Loire, to the city of Angers, to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and to the Astronomical Association of Anjou.
The site includes two buildings : the rectangular building sheltered a telescope of 250 mm which was stolen and the building with the dome (5 m diameter), symbolic of the astronomical observatories, is equipped with a telescope 400 mm.
The association which manages the site realized an analemmatique sundial and envisage other similar projects. It equipped the site of paving stones and posts which are of use to the implementation of various instruments of observation.
An evening of free initiation is proposed every month.

The geocache is a box about 6 x 9 cms which allows the removal and the exchange of objects.
According to the challenge of the "GREEN" (VERT in french) geocaches, the deposit of exclusively "GREEN" objects will be appreciated.
Attention : the place is openly : be discreet and please, replace well the camouflage so that the geocache will live for a long time for the pleasure of all.
