Geocache Description:

When looking for caches to find for the Pierce County Thomas Guide, I came upon the cache Pay Your Respects. Even with lasting for nearly ten years, it unfortunately went missing before I could find it. After seeing that it was the only cache left in Carbonado, I thought a replacement would be a good idea since the town needed at least one geocache to claim.

"Like the title says, pay your respects to the fallen miners of Dec. 9 1899 Carbonado mine explosion, as well as those of other similar tragedies in the area You can park at coordinates N47 04.996 W122 03.591. If cache needs any service please contact me. Happy Hunting." This cache is placed behind the Carbonado cemetery and near the miner's memorial. It should be an easy find.
